What does «cromático» mean in Spanish?
- Relating to colors.
- The system that proceeds by semitones: chromatic scale.
- Applied to the glass or instrument that presents objects outlined with the colors of the rainbow.
- (escala cromática) Musical scale with twelve tones.
- (adaptación cromática) A characteristic of the human vision system where the brain compensates for environmental variations in color. In this way, under almost any light, we perceive colors correctly.
- (paleta o gama cromática) Grouping of colors according to their characteristics and their variations: value, saturation, position of shades in the chromatic circle. It is divided into 3 main groups: primary, secondary and tertiary colors. Its counterpart is the achromatic range that only mixes white, gray and black.
