What does «derecho espacial» mean in Spanish?
- Space law is an area of law that encompasses national and international law governing activities in outer space. International jurists have not been able to agree on a uniform definition of the term "outer space," although most jurists agree that outer space generally begins at the lowest altitude above sea level at which objects can orbit the Earth, (approximately 100 km or 62.1 miles). The beginning of the field of space law began with the October 1957 launch of the world's first satellite, the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics' Sputnik.
