What does «escenario» mean in Spanish?
- Part of the theater or cultural space where the show is performed. It is the physical place where the theatrical performance or scenic art takes place. Actors and performers work there creating the setting. All kinds of decorations or elements such as the curtain can be attached to the stage, according to the needs of the performance. It is usually separated from the audience (on an elevated platform), although sometimes they are in the same space and at the same level, as in street theater. The limitation between the stage space and the audience can be physical or imaginary.
