What does «requisición» mean in Spanish?
- Action by the authority requiring a person or entity to provide an activity or the enjoyment of an asset (vehicle, factory, building, etc.).
- The counting and seizure of horses, baggage, food, etc., usually made by the army in time of war. Military requisitioning is used to provision an army in difficult times.
- Forced seizure by the State, for military and security reasons, of movable property belonging to private individuals, against payment of compensation.
- Acquisition or requirement of something, especially products.
