- Papilionaceous tree, with fruits (of the same name) up to 80 cm long, black, with cells containing a kind of molasses. This molasses is used for its tonic and depurative properties and is also taken with boiled milk. Other common names: carago, caragüe, carámbano, cañandonga. Scientific name: Cassia grandis.
