- Tender corn tamale, also known as tamal de elote. It is a small dish, with a somewhat sweet flavor and soft consistency, typical of the Mexican states of Michoacán and Guerrero. It is a tamale made with ground corn kernels (elote), sometimes with milk, cream or cream. It can be served alone with a tomato or green tomatillo sauce and fresh cheese or cream.
