What does «tejolote» mean in Spanish?
- Mallet or stone cylinder for crushing food in the molcajete (mortar). It is also known as temolote, temachín, muchacho or simply as "piedra del molcajete". It is widely used to grind tomatoes, garlic, onions, chili, etc. to make sauces.
