What does «rangos navales» mean in Spanish?
- All modern militaries use a similar military rank scheme. Modern navies use naval ranks of comparable seniority to the ranks used by armies and air forces. The highest naval ranks, collectively called "flag ranks," include Fleet Admiral, Admiral Vice Admirals, Rear Admirals, and Commodores (Commodores), have seniority comparable to that of Army or Air Force generals. These ranks may have command of fleets, squadrons or task forces composed of multiple ships. The other commissioned ranks in modern navies include Captain, Commander, Lieutenant Commander, and Lieutenant. These ranks are roughly comparable to those in the military: colonel, lieutenant colonel, major, captain, and lieutenant.
