What does «musa» mean in Spanish?
- Each of the nine deities who inhabited Parnassus and presided over the liberal arts and sciences. In Greek mythology, the Muses were divinities inspiring music and, according to later notions, divinities presiding over the different types of poetry, as well as the arts, sciences and love. At first they were considered to be inspirational nymphs of the springs, near which they were worshipped and bore different names in different places, until the Thracian-Beotian worship of the nine Muses spread from Boeotia to the rest of the regions of Greece and eventually became generally established.
- Numen, a poet's inspiration.
