- American bird of prey similar to the kite. It has a white head, wingtips and breast. Its crown, back, tail and a large part of the wings are dark grayish. Yellow forehead and cheeks. Length up to 23 cm and weighs between 80 and 95 g. Scientific name: Gampsonyx swainsonii. This bird is distributed from Panama, Colombia and Venezuela to Bolivia and northern Argentina.
