What does «colibrí» mean in Spanish?

Name applied to any member of a group of small birds that constitute the trochilid family. They are found only in the western hemisphere distributed from the Strait of Magellan to Alaska. It is also known as: bird fly, chuparrosa, chupamiel, chupaflor, chichinflor or chichinglás.
