What does «cohesor» mean in Spanish?
- Name given in primitive wireless telegraphy, to a detector used in the old receivers. It consisted of a tube with carbon particles or metal filings placed between two electrodes. The radio waves, by causing cohesion of the granular material, reduced its resistance sufficiently to allow the passage of a current which, when excited by a relay, produced a signal.

Examples of use in Spanish: "el poder de la televisión como medio cohesor y de debate".
