What does «censo de derecho» mean in Spanish?
- It is a methodology to census the population where data is obtained from those persons who usually reside in the household, even if they are not present at the time of the survey. It contrasts with the method called de facto census, where the data obtained are those of the people who are present at the time of the census, including those who do not usually reside in the household, but spent the night there. Usually the de jure census is carried out over several days, while the de facto census must be done in a single day to avoid duplication.
