What does «adyacente» mean in Spanish?
- Located in close proximity or contiguous.
Examples of use in Spanish: "esas dos casas son adyacentes".
- Adjacent angles. Those that have the same vertex, one side in common with each other and the non-common sides are part of the same straight line (or, from another point of view, the other two sides are opposite ray lines). See adjacent angle.
- In syntax, the syntactic function by which a complement of a noun, usually a qualifying adjective, qualifies the nucleus noun with which it agrees in gender and number, specifying or explaining it within the nominal syntagm, is called adjacent to the syntactic constituent of the nominal syntagm.
