What does «parca» mean in Spanish?
- In Roman Mythology, each of the three sister deities, Cloto, Lachesis and Atropos, who respectively spun, reeled and cut the thread of life of both gods and humans. Their Greek equivalent was the Moirai.
- Garment similar to a jacket, usually with a hood and reaching to mid-thigh. It can be light, casual and sporty looking, or heavier and warm.
- (la parca) Death. He is usually pictured in a black hooded robe, skeletal body, holding a scythe.
