- (Dominica in albis) First Sunday after Easter (Sunday of the octave), also called Quasimodo or, popularly, Easter or Paschal Sunday. The full name is "in albis vestibus depositis", literally "in albis vestibus depositis", because, in ancient times, on that day, the newly baptized at the Easter Vigil (called neophytes), left their white garments that they had been wearing since Easter Sunday, as a form of prayer and penance.
