What does «higroscópico» mean in Spanish?
- Describes substances that absorb moisture from the surrounding environment or medium. This property makes hygroscopic substances desiccant. Calcium chloride, magnesium chloride, sulfuric acid or isopropyl alcohol are examples of hygroscopic compounds.
