What does «georama» mean in Spanish?
- A large, hollow geographic globe, on the inner surface of which the figure of the Earth is traced, so that the viewer placed in the center of the globe embraces at a glance the whole of the seas, continents, etc. The georama is a geographical attraction derived from the panorama and consists of an inverted representation of the Earth in the form of a concave sphere. The term "geological landscape" has also been used to describe representations drawn in relief over an area, on a larger or smaller scale, of part or all of the earth's surface. A georama is a variant of a panorama that shows a large-scale overview of the earth; thus, georama is also a large, hollow globe containing representations of the continents, seas, mountains, rivers, etc. on its inner surface that can be seen from the center.
