What does «chogüí» mean in Spanish?
- Indigenous name for the choni or naranjero, a bird of American origin, 15 cm long and of marked sexual dimorphism, with bright greenish-blue and orange coloration in the male, but dull plumage in the female. It is considered a pest of orange trees and is found in Bolivia, Paraguay and northern Argentina. Scientific name: Thraupis sayaca.
