What does «caicobé» mean in Spanish?
- Indigenous name for the sensitive, plant of the mimosaceae family, with stem 60 to 70 cm high; and full of stingers; petiolate, compound leaves; small mauve-pink flowers, and fruit in pods with several seeds. It is native to America. It is known as sensitive because if it is touched or shaken it seems to wither and then, after a while, it returns to normal.
