What does «bizcocho» mean in Spanish?
- Unleavened bread that is baked twice to preserve it for a long time.
- Flour, egg and sugar dough baked in the oven. The sponge cakes acquire, when baked, two or three times their original volume. Drunken sponge cake is soaked in syrup and generous wine.
- Unglazed earthenware or porcelain object.
