What does «apoplejía» mean in Spanish?
- Cerebral palsy caused by a stroke in the brain or meninges. It is a sudden attack, with loss of consciousness and partial or total paralysis of the patient, following a cerebral vascular accident resulting from an embolism, hemorrhage or thrombosis.
Examples of use in Spanish: "tuvo una apoplejía fulminante".
- Sudden hemorrhage inside any organ of the body.
