What does «adarce» mean in Spanish?
- A whitish saline crust that seawater forms when wet. Also called alhurreca or hardened sea foam. It is seen on reeds, rushes and other plants in marshes.
- Crust or concretion formed on any object wetted by sea water or mineral waters rich in limestone salts. It was used in the past to treat the skin.
