What does «plombagina» mean in Spanish?
- A grayish-black mineral with a metallic luster, greasy to the touch and composed almost exclusively of carbon. It is used to make pencils, refractory crucibles, molds, paints, varnishes, electroplating, lubricants, etc. In handicrafts it is used to imitate metals such as iron and lead. It is also known as graphite or graphite powder.
Examples of use in Spanish: "la técnica de la plombagina es bastante sucia; se aconseja por ejemplo, emplear guantes y un delantal".
