What does «orden menor» mean in Spanish?
- A rank or degree of ecclesiastical ministry below the major order. Within the ordination of clerics, the minor orders are the degrees of ostiarius, lector, exorcist, and acolyte. In the Catholic Church, the predominant Latin Church traditionally distinguished between the major holy orders of priest (including both bishop and simple priest), deacon and subdeacon, and the four minor orders of acolyte, exorcist, lector and ostiarius (or porter) in descending sequence.
