What does «mol» mean in Spanish?
- Quantity of a substance whose weight is the number of grams expressed by its molecular weight. The mole is the basic unit of quantity of substance ("substance number") in the International System of Units (SI), defined exactly as 6.02214076×10^23 particles, e.g., atoms, molecules, ions, or electrons. Its symbol is mol. This definition was adopted in November 2018, revising its former definition based on the number of atoms in 12 grams of carbon-12 (12C) (the carbon isotope with relative atomic mass 12 Da by definition).
