What does «interpelar» mean in Spanish?
- To call upon or compel someone to request something or to fulfill some obligation. Unlike recriminar, interpelar demands a reparation, response or change from the other.
- To demand explanations from one about a fact, especially if it comes from an authority or is rightfully done.

- In Parliament, to arouse or raise a discussion unrelated to the bills.
