What does «habido» mean in Spanish?
- (habido) Participle of the verb haber. Non-personal form of the verb haber that it takes to function as an adjective without losing its verbal nature. Like all participles, it always denotes past tense and perfective aspect; "haber" forms the compound or perfective tenses of the regular conjugation in Spanish: he habido, había habido, habré habido, habrán haberrán..., it also serves to conjugate the passive voice and to form subordinate clauses.
Examples of use in Spanish: "No ha habido desabastecimiento por el momento".
"Ha habido un fracaso en la gestión".
- (mal habido) It is said of that which has an illegal or improper origin.
