What does «bisabuelo» mean in Spanish?
- Father or mother of someone's grandfather or grandmother. That someone is the great-grandson or great-granddaughter for great-grandparents. One person (great-grandchild) has a total of eight great-grandparents. The fathers of great-grandparents are called great-great-grandparents and the mothers of great-grandparents are called great-great-grandmothers.
Examples of use in Spanish: "mi bisabuelo, el padre de mi abuelo paterno, aún vive".
"mis bisabuelas son las dos abuelas de mi padre y las dos abuelas de mi madre".
