What does «avutarda» mean in Spanish?
- A wading bird, comprising a group of more than 20 species belonging to the Otis family. The most common species is the great bustard, Otis tarda, one of the largest land birds, exceeding 2.5 m wingspan. It still exists in central and southern Europe, northern Africa and Asia. Great bustards resemble cranes, but are more massive.
