Every time a person did something righteous, honest or courageous, the god Ahura Mazda won a victory over the evil Ahriman, while every time someone did something cruel, dishonest or dishonourable Ahriman would push back against Ahura Mazda. Therefore, humans played an important role in Ahura Mazda's final victory through their actions.
