When the match-winning goal was in dispute, the umpire declared that a ball had gone out of Wilander's opponent, and Wilander went to speak to the umpire. "I don't want to win like that," he told him. "The ball was good. The match was replayed, and this time Wilander triumphed, unquestionably, in good style.
