What does «vicecristo» mean in Spanish?
- An honorific and respectful title given by Catholics to the Supreme Pontiff as the representative of God on Earth. While it is applied primarily to the Pope, this title has sometimes been given to kings or other idols, which is considered offensive among Catholics.
