What does «tribunal de arbitramento» mean in Spanish?
- Arbitration court (or arbitration) is a court composed of arbitrators or judges appointed by the conflicting parties themselves, to decide a dispute or a litigious matter between them. The arbitrator or arbitrators take on the role of judges in this process: they will decide what the parties concerned should do about the problem and thus put an end to the conflict. The decision or solution given by the tribunal, called an arbitral award, is binding on the parties.
Examples of use in Spanish: "ante este conflicto las partes han decidido hacer uso del recurso de arbitraje y, por tanto, someterlo a un tribunal de arbitramento".
