What does «tinacalero» mean in Spanish?
- Person in charge of the elaboration of pulque and taking care of the tinacal of the pulque haciendas. Also called tinacal steward. He is in charge of measuring the aguamiel, carrying the water, washing the vats and barrels. Sometimes also called tlachiquero (or magueyero), although he is actually in charge of extracting the mead from the maguey plants.
