- Pinkish plant with aromatic flavor and purplish flowers. It has erect reddish stems, a height of 40 to 60 cm, toothed leaves. Flowers without corolla, purplish calyx and ellipsoidal fruit. Abundant in Spain. It is used in medicine as tonic and diaphoretic. Its scientific name is Poterium sanguisorba.
