What does «osteoplastia» mean in Spanish?
Operation
for
the
replacement
of a
bone
or
part
of it
using
fragments
of
another
bone
. The
purpose
of osteoplasty is to
create
a
physiological
shape
of
the
alveolar
bone
without
removing
"supporting"
tissue
. This
term
was
introduced
by Friedman in 1955.
