What does «locatario» mean in Spanish?

A person who pays for the usufruct of something; lessee. In the case of the rental of real estate, the lessee is the one who pays to be able to use the lessor's property.

Examples of use in Spanish: "el locatario firmó el contrato de alquiler del comercio para desarrollar allí su actividad".

"el locador tiene la obligación de realizar las reparaciones del inmueble alquilado por el locatario".
