What does «feta» mean in Spanish?
- Goat, sheep and cow cheese, originally from Greece. It is white, firm, without skin and with a sour taste. It has a minimum fat content of 43%. It has been made at least since classical antiquity. It is also a classic cheese in Bulgaria, Turkey, Denmark and Romania. It must be aged for at least 3 months. It is used in Greek salads and in Greek cakes called spanakotiropites.
