What does «contumacia» mean in Spanish?
- Obstinacy. A person's tenacity in maintaining an error.
Examples of use in Spanish: "Defiende su postura con contumacia".
- Default, failure to appear at a trial. Passive resistance, disobedience to the summons made to the plaintiff or defendant to appear or respond within the term of a summons. Currently, the word "rebelliousness" is more commonly used.
